Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SchemaLens, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

Service Description

SchemaLens provides PostgreSQL schema version control through a command-line interface (CLI) and web dashboard. The service allows you to track, diff, compare, and manage database schema changes across multiple environments.

Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of your database schemas, snapshots, and all content you upload to SchemaLens. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. You grant us a limited license solely to store, process, and display your data as needed to provide the service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to store or transmit malicious code or content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Use the service in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
• Resell or redistribute the service without written permission

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. Free tier accounts do not include uptime guarantees or SLAs.

Limitation of Liability

SchemaLens is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use of SchemaLens after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Termination

Either party may terminate the account at any time. Upon termination, you may export your data before it is deleted. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
